Weird Question, How does Arsenic taste?

Apparently, farmer used to use arsenic as an insecticide. It killed the insects and surprise, surprise, poisoned the land. When I heard about this, I thought this screamed "Evil Villain Lair". So, I'm writing a story where a villain lives on an abandoned Apple Orchild with Arsenic in the Apple. (Love the Alliteration of it.) One of the characters eats one of these poisoned apples and I'm trying to describe something I'm not dumb enough to try and taste.
