Should i stay mad or forgive him?

Should I Stay mad at my boyfriend or should I forgive him. On Sunday morning he was at my house when he was ready to leave i to him not to, to stay all day with me, he said he couldn't stay that he had to go pick up his pay check and make some payments. So I was ok with it, and told him I was going out with my friends instead and he said not to. I told him i was because it was not fair for me to stay home when i know he was going out with his cousins, and he said he was not going to do that. So I was out having fun and all the sudden I saw him arrive at the place where i was at. So i got mad and told him he was a lair and didn't want to speak to him anymore because that was the second time he did that. So he instead to forgive him but I ignored him and left and haven't answer his text msgs or calls. Please help I want to know if I should forgive him or not because lately all he does is lie
