Do your parents ever lie to people about the things they do?

Like every time people come by our house or my mom talks to people she lies to them about how "awesome" our life is and stuff. Like she brags about how I'm on the soccer team, and that I'm really good and stuff, when I suck at soccer. It's like she's embarrassed or something so she makes up these stories that aren't true and then people ask me and I don't want her to look like a lair so I play along.
