well since you are asking us if you did the right thing instead of letting your HEART and own EMOTIONS tell you...its obvious that you didnt do the right thing then..Being with someone for 9 years is something that you have to be devoted and committed to...Its not easy to just dump and leave someone after being with them for almost a decade. Maybe..you should tell ur ex and explain why you felt like you had to break things off with her...so she will at least know why you decided to leave after 9 years of being together...just tell her the truth and maybe, you wont feel too guilty when you are with your new girlfriend...remember...LIFE GOES ON. =D
